Eclipse is based on one of my paintings named Coyolxauhqui, which in turn is based on the Aztec Moon Goddess, who was defeated by her brother Huitzilopochtli (the Sun) in an astral battle between day and night. The original painting (available as an HD unlockable jpg) shows key moments of the history of my native Mexico, from the arrival of the Spanish to the present era.
