Sometimes a glitch reveals the true nature of it’s source image, like for example in this channel-shift glitch of a Buddha statue, that I had shot in Amsterdam. On the one hand it addresses the underlying philosophy, while on the other hand it shows, how I felt when looking at it. This might have to do with the visualization of a third eye chakra, which ,according to wikipedia, “often symbolizes a state of enlightenment or the evocation of mental images having deeply personal spiritual or psychological significance.”
